Ghan Prakash (GP) Badu is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering at the University of Central Florida (starting fall 2025). His research specializes in structural health monitoring to assess damage and corrosion in civil infrastructures using acoustic emission techniques. He is also actively exploring the application of computer vision for structural health monitoring. GP earned his B.E. in Civil Engineering from Far Western University in Nepal in 2018 and his M.Tech. in Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Roorkee) in India in 2022. Apart from academics, he enjoys exploring new places and watching movies.
