Syed Zohaib Hassan
Zohaib is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering at the University of Central Florida. His research lies at the intersection of civil engineering, remote sensing, and artificial intelligence, focusing on developing automated, data-driven solutions for monitoring the built and natural environment. With a strong interest in sustainability, Zohaib’s work spans applications in infrastructure assessment, environmental management, and precision agriculture. By integrating advanced sensing technologies with geospatial analytics and AI, he aims to support resilient cities and smarter, more sustainable farming systems. He earned his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan (2018), and his M.Sc. in Construction Automation from Yonsei University, South Korea (2021). His interdisciplinary approach reflects a broader mission to apply technological innovation for real-world impact across urban, environmental, and agricultural domains.
