Resilient Infrastructure
Sensing & Evaluation
Welcome to the Sun's lab
Dr. Sun’s Resilient Infrastructure Sensing and Evaluation (RISE) research group at the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering (UCF CECE: http://www.cece.ucf.edu/sun) is looking for motivated Undergraduate Research Assistants or Research Interns starting in Fall 2024. We encourage applications from highly self-motivated students with a solid background in computer science/electrical engineering/civil engineering/mechanical engineering and a strong interest in applying these tools to tackle research problems in smart cities and smart infrastructures (e.g., drone-based remote sensing, sensing system development for smart structures/water network/solid-waste management, data analytics/image processing).
